20 viewsI'm standing at the center of Place Charles DeGaule, at the west end of the Champs Elysees. Behind me is the famous Arc de Triomphe. The arch honors those who fought for France, particularly during the Napoleonic Wars. Underneath is the tomb of the unknown soldier from WWI.
