I felt somewhat sorry for this child. I wish she could have been outside playing with her friends.

I flew to Frankfurt, Germany, and stayed with some friends while I waited for a flight to Barcelona. It took several days, as most of the flights had been filled for months. Finding a hotel was another problem. After many inquiries, and three subway rides, I finally found a room at a hotel with no AC, and costs over $200.00 a night. I'm in front of the hotel eating a ham sandwich that I bought in a nearby deli.

This is the medical clinic, and it was built in honor of my brother, Michael Correll. After my father died, Michael took over as president of my dad's mission. Michael was close friends with the missionary there in Bolivia, which led to the building of the clinic.

I couldn't have taken a trip with greater people than these guys were. The girl on the ground on the left was a daughter of one of the doctors, and she brought her friend. Such sweet kids.

The last photo of our group. After Antarctica and the Iguazu Falls, a lot of us became very good friends, and we still correspond with each other.

One of my closest friends, Bev, lives in Kannapolis, N.C. Her niece was a band member of the South Rowan High School, and they had been invited to march in the St. Patrick's parade in Dublin. So, knowing how much I loved to travel, I was invited to go along and help with the photography. It didn't take me long to pack!

Through this whole parade, you could certainly feel the "Irishness" of the people. They were a bubbly and friendly group of people.

Located on the slopes of the Mount of Olives is this Jewish cemetery. It is one of the oldest and largest in the world. Friends and relatives put a stone on top of the grave when they visit.

Now we are taking a walk through the Kidron Valley. The valley separates the Mt. Of Olives from the City of Jerusalem. It is said that Jesus crossed this valley many times, either going to the Temple through the Golden Gate or going up to Bethany where he would spend the night with his friend Lazarus.

"I'll give you a tip, lady!" If you have already looked at the Ireland pictures, you might recognize my two friends, Beverly and Harry, on the left side of the photo.

So my friend Kristin and I decided to walk. It turned out to be a long walk along a dusty trail, called The Sig. The trail twists and turns and sometimes it's only 12 feet wide. The sandstone walls rise so high, around 650 feet, that it all but shuts out the sun. This is pretty exciting.
